Truth or Dare

To The Royalties of Fluff and Denial

[[ Sorry, not an update from Wishries, Line of Fire, or RAP2 but I hope you enjoy this little gift! ]]

11:36 PM

Nami’s brows were furiously coming together as her face was resting in a deep frown as she stared at the monitor of her laptop. It’s the dead of the night and she has a very early appointment tomorrow, despite it being a Sunday, and yet here she was, forcing herself to stay awake. The dull light of the screen made a ghastly illumination on her face, casting shadows that seemed like the manifestation of her accumulating worries.

She sighed in dreaded anticipation. Her hands were crossed, resting at the edge of the table as her upper body leaned forward, closer to the screen, in her impatience growing in every tick of the clock. Her clear blue eyes quickly glanced at the tabletop clock and her annoyance…

To The Royalties of Fluff and Denial

Black Capes and Red Tail

He shuffled away from the doom of a red lipstick closing in at him. He was sure he didn’t sign up for this kind of treatment. Heck, he didn’t even want to be part of this…whatever party it’s called. The poor leather coverings of the couch squeaked in protest as his hands pushed more itself away to a very small corner. He’ll just pay for Tsukimori’s couch later.

He grunted as he turned his head away. “Oh come on, Tsuchiura Ryotaro! Stop resisting!” a woman’s voice came through gritted teeth. “I’m not going to let you put that in my lips or in my face or in any part of my body.” He fought back. His other hand pushed the woman away, as if she was holding a catalyst for the nest zombie apocalypse. “It’s not going to be too obvious, you jerk…

[LenKaho] The Wish of the Prodigy’s Daugther: Chapter 6

Chapter 6

“Everything has its limit; you’ve been blinded the whole time, don’t be surprised if you wake up in the morning all alone.”

You’re mean!

“Len, this is too much…what is more important to you, the business or your daughter?”

Of course, her daughter was more important for him, he was doing all those things for her, working hard to make her life better.

“She doesn’t need a money-maker or anything…she needs a father, a parent.”

Chapter 5

Unspoken words burned in their shared moment. Longing and yearning laced around them, however it didn’t take long when it all disappeared like nothing had happened.

Kahoko’s hand glided to his chest, pushing him away as though an illness a health-conscious person couldn’t take. Her face plastered with both shock and regret, her hand mechanically covered her gaping mouth as she watched in all sorrow how his impassive mask crashed into oblivion of sadness.

Her heart came cracking, fissures opened in an upsetting way. “I-I…I-I d-didn’t mean to…” she bowed her head, tears welling in the brim of her eyes. “I’m so sorry,” she mumbled, running away.

[LenKaho] The Wish of the Prodigy’s Daugther: Chapter 4

Chapter 4

One week more to go before Christmas, the Tsukimori’s mansion could be lined up as one of those already prepared for holidays. It was not in Len’s plan to have such decorative appearance in the house, unfortunately, his daughter made sure he said yes to all she wanted this Christmas. And that was the cause why the place glowed in the middle of the night.

If possible, all who would cross their residence needed to use shades just to look at the place. Len was thankful enough that their location was far enough in the street to attract attention.

At least, a part of the house was on Len’s side, and that would be their living room. No ornamentations were planted and decorated to the said place. Even a single pine tree was out of sight. However, it didn’t take long when his daughter gave such interest to the particular room—one day, when she decided it was rather dull and lonely—as what she put it—compared with the other rooms that were fully embellished with the holiday spirit.

[LenKaho] The Wish of the Prodigy’s Daugther: Chapter 3

Chapter 3

Mr. Sun went gliding towards Kallen’s window. Shimmering ray of light tickled the kid’s pale cheeks. Once the warmth was too much to handle, the girl opened and revealed another golden-colored orb in her eyes. A smile already adorned in her façade.

She strode to her mini bathroom, took her pink toothbrush and brushed her teeth. After she finished her daily routine, she went downstairs but just to be greeted by her expected guest. The smile on her lips grew and doubled in size.

“Morning!” she muttered, running.

Redirect: Letter to ff.net readers

Hi!
Since you’re reading this, I assume, that you read my letter in fanfiction.net. Okay, let’s start this little explanation. First of all, I don’t open that account anymore because I have a new one, although, as what you can see, there are still incomplete stories, I’ll be completing it someday. I’m not going to abandon it. The recent story that I published in that account will be the last of it.
I’m really happy that despite the inactivity of that account you still read, reviewed and added my stories in your favorite list. They are much appreciated because you spend your time doing it. Not because I’m not responding anymore it means I’m ignoring it, I still have access through my gmail hence I know what’s happening there. Again, thank you for all of your support, unfortunately ‘NeKo Meow’ is retired already. You may, however, see me updating my old stories you might not have read yet here.
I’ll try to update this site as muc h as possible, and I’ll be posting here the links of my new projects and whatnot.
Thank you for taking your time reading this weird alienated letter of mine. If you have any question you can visit my tumblr askbox. I usually post my edits there too if you’re interested.

[LenKaho] The Wish of the Prodigy’s Daugther: Chapter 2

Chapter 2

“Papa, it’s my violin lesson, you have to come.” It was the usual scenario between a certain redhead girl and his father every time they discuss about things they don’t usually agreed with.

“Kallen, you know that I’m busy these past days, it is almost Christmas and the company is loaded with transactions.”

“But you promised. You always break your promises. What is so hard in accompanying me to my violin class?”

Len grunted, pinching the bridge of his nose before responding once more. “Can you ask your grandmother instead. I honestly can’t go with you this time.” His voice remained in a calm note, avoiding raising a single pitch in front of his daughter, especially when he was at fault.

He did give her his words of promises, unfortunately, to both, the season was not about to be lenient in dealing with promises. It just so happened that his schedule got even tighter than his past three years working. It was unexpected, and to make the thing worse, it needed more attention than anything else. .

Len had this look of repentance in his eyes, however, it abruptly evaporated into confusion as he noticed the glint in his daughter’s eyes. Alive golden sparks danced in the pools of brown, as a knowing smile adorned the small lips of the child.  “Alright, but grandmother can’t come as well. Can I ask somebody else to go with me?”

Once the girl said somebody, Nami’s name registered in his mind. She was not a good babysitter, but she was not that bad at all. Without asking whom could that somebody be, Len answered back. “Ok, be careful.” Knowing it might be Nami. Nevertheless, that was what he thought.
